Christ: Nativity -- In upper half of initial H, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, reclining on draped bed, extends left hand toward midwife, veiled, holding fan (?) in raised right hand. In lower half of the initial, Christ Child, crossed nimbus, reclines on draped manger (?); ox is next to, and ass at foot of manger.
