Christ: Nativity -- Two angels, nimbed, appear above swaddled Christ Child, nimbed, lying in manger and flanked by ass and ox. Ox chews hay.
Below, veiled Virgin Mary, lying on pillow and mattress, raises left hand toward the Christ Child, turning to look at her. Joseph the Carpenter, standing before chair, holds feet of Virgin Mary in lap.
