Scene: Liturgical, Celebration of Mass -- Tonsured deacon appears behind tonsured priest, wearing chasuble inscribed with Tau-shaped cross.
With hands raised, he faces draped altar on which are chalice, unidentified object, and retable in form of triptych, possibly representing busts of Christ, Virgin Mary and John Baptist.
Scene within initial P decorated with foliate ornament at beginning of notated Preface at Simple Feasts and Ferial Days.
