Virgin Mary and Christ Child -- Virgin Mary, crowned, holds nude infant Christ Child, all in initial H composed of foliate ornament extending to Tree of Jesse in margins.
In margins:
Jesse: Tree -- Jesse, with eyes closed, lays in lower margin. Extending from his abdomen is tree, with branches enclosing six crowned kings (Ancestors of Christ), including David, holding harp, and a king holding scroll (Continues from facing page).
