Christ: Resurrection -- Christ, rays as cross nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding processional cross with left hand, His body partially draped, showing wound in side, stands at foot of covered sarcophagus. Behind Him are two angels, wearing cross surmounted crowns (fillet), with joined hands, standing one on each side of the sarcophagus. At left of the sarcophagus, soldier, wearing helmet, with shield on his back, carries club (?) with left hand over left shoulder and holds in right hand, strap or belt with buckle. In foreground, one of two soldiers, left hand raised to head, supports himself, semi-reclining with right arm, next to broadaxe. Sword is at his waist. The other soldier, wearing hat, right hand resting on cross bow, left hand supporting head, semi-reclining, is asleep. Object on chain hangs from his belt.
Scene in landscape with trees, rock formations and buildings in distance.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including including rose, lily, pink and viola.
Lower margin:
1) Christ: appearing to Virgin Mary -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, kneels with joined hands before Christ, rays as nimbus, raising right hand in blessing, holding processional cross with left hand, his body partially draped, showing wounds in hands, side and left foot, seated on faldstool.
2) Two angels flanking and displaying cloth with five bleeding wounds inscribed MISERERE MEI.
3) Christ: noli me tangere -- Mary Magdalen, nimbed, wearing headdress, kneeling (?) extends arms toward Christ, rays as cross nimbus, wearing broad brimmed hat, raising right hand in blessing, holding spade (shovel) with left hand. Wounds are visible in His hands and left foot.
