David: in Prayer -- David, crowned, with joined hands, wearing vair lined mantle, kneels in doorway of room, with two windows. Rays descend toward David through one window; buildings visible through other window. Harp is on floor behind him. Above the doorway, escutcheon with heraldry (or, an eagle displayed sable, winged gules).
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including strawberry, viola, rose, and daisy, and inhabited by rooster (cock).
