Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, with arms crossed on breast, kneels at prie-dieu, on which is open book. Dove of Holy Ghost descends towards her head from rays passing through window. Archangel Gabriel, head surmounted by cross, kneels on one knee facing her, holding scepter with left hand and with right hand, scroll inscribed AUE GRATIA PLENA DOMINUS TECUM. Between them is vase containing lilies.
All are below three ogee arches before panels of drapery. Flanking center arch are two statues of men on capitals, one holding fleur-de-lis scepter with left hand; the other holds open book. Next to each statue is medallion enclosing face. Canopy is in background.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including daisy and strawberry, and inhabited by peacock.
