Virgin Mary: Visitation -- Elizabeth, nimbed, wearing wimpled veil, extends her right hand to swollen abdomen of Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, holding book in her left hand. Both, standing, embrace.
Scene with gold background, within decorated initial D embellished with filigree in spandrels. Margins decorated with foliate extensions and inhabited by dog seated in the lower margin.
