Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, rays as nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loincloth, is affixed with three nails to cross bearing titulus INRI. He is flanked by Longinus and Longinus piercing His side with spear, and by Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, with hands joined, supported by Evangelist John, nimbed, his right hand on her right shoulder, and his left at her left side. Holy woman, wearing headdress, kneels at foot of cross, orant. Scene in landscape with city in background.
Miniature surrounded by architectural frame, decorated at top and bottom with putti holding shields. Inscription in lower margin OMEGA.
