Margins, lower and right (bottom to top):
1) Christ: crowned with Thorns -- Christ, nimbed, wearing robe, is seated on bench. He is flanked by two men, wearing hats, holding sticks to put on crown of thorns.
2) Christ: bearing Cross -- Christ, rays as nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing robe, carries cross on left shoulder. At left is man raising club with right hand; at right are two men, one carrying spear over left shoulder.
3) Christ: Crucifixion, nailed to Cross -- Man, wearing hat, kneeling next to cross on ground, raises hammer with right hand, and nails to cross, left hand of Christ, nimbed, with crown of thorns, wearing short loin cloth. His feet are bound to cross. Another man, wearing cap, sits on ground next to cross. In foreground, two men, both wearing hats, one wearing tunic, and the other wearing long tunic, look on, standing with back to viewer.
4) Christ: Deposition -- Nicodemus, wearing hood, standing on ladder, his right arm over cross arm, supports, on shroud (?), body of Christ, rays as nimbus, with crown of thorns, wearing short loin cloth. Joseph of Arimathea, Virgin Mary, and another figure, only partially visible, all nimbed, stand at foot of cross.
