Evangelist Luke sits writing at desk with parchment. Before him stands Virgin Mary, veiled, with joined hands raised. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame with two standing figures of prophets (?). Bottom of frame inscribed I[N] ILLO TE[M]PORE MISSVS EST A[NGELUS].
