Virgin Mary: Annunciation -- Virgin Mary, with scalloped nimbus, with right hand raised, kneeling at draped prie-dieu with open book with pseudo-inscription beneath canopy, turns toward Archangel Gabriel, kneeling on one knee, with left hand indicating scroll in right hand inscribed AVE GRACIA PLENA DOMINUS. Dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, descends on rays through window toward the Virgin Mary. In background is brocade cloth and vase with lily. Scene in room with groin vault, arched leaded-glass windows, tile floor, and carved arch with pendants.
Margins with vinescroll, ivy-rinceaux, and floreate ornament.
