Christ: Betrayal and Arrest -- Christ, with crossed nimbus, is embraced by Judas; helmeted soldier grasps His left arm. More helmeted soldiers, some with spears and halberds, stand to right; man with torch stands to left. Beside Christ, Apostle Peter, nimbed, tonsured, raises sword in both hands above Malchus, wearing hat, fallen to ground, holding club in left hand and lantern in right hand (Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus). Above is arc of heaven. Wattle fence in foreground. Gold scroll background. Margins with floreate ornament.
