Augustine of Hippo, nimbus of rays, wearing miter, cope and gloves, holding heart with right hand and crozier with left hand, standing on platform with decorated wall and dado in background.
Blue heads appear above arch inside frame of miniature.
Margins decorated with border of gold rinceaux inhabited by fantastic animal and two centaurs, one raising stone with right hand and holding shield with left hand, and the other raising club in each hand. Gold geometric ornament on each corner of miniature.
