1) Benedict of Montecassino: Scene, at School -- Male attendant holds handle of sword in right hand and raises left hand, beside man wearing hat, garment of vair-lined collar and mantle, and gloves, and raising left hand. Both stand behind Cyrilla of Norcia, veiled, with left hand raised and right hand on shoulder of child Benedict holding (reading) open book on lectern beside three clerics (?), one with hands raised and another with roll in left hand and right hand raised (Scene, Ecclesiastic: Instruction ?). Architectural frame.

2) Benedict of Montecassino: Scene, departing for the Desert -- Cyrilla of Norcia, veiled, raises right hand and places left hand on back of young Benedict raising right hand and placing left hand on rock with shrubs.
