Nicholas IV, inscribed DOMINUS FRATER JERONIMUS DE ESCHULO ORDINIS MINORUM QUI ET NICHOLAUS QUARTUS PAPA, wearing triple-crowned papal tiara, sits on bench, feet on cushion, with winged dragon hanging from his right arm, with his right hand extending chalice to woman, and with his left two forefingers raised toward a second woman, with right hand on breast and with left hand holding fold of garment. Below text, motto of Pope Nicholas IV, ORIENS BIBET DE CALICE IRE DEI. Folio numbered "Quartus" at upper margin.
