Christ: Deposition -- Christ, nimbed, wearing short loincloth, bleeding from wounds, is held by draped hands of Joseph of Arimathea, His right arm around shoulders of Joseph. Nicodemus extends both arms up to left hand of Christ nailed to cross, as are His feet. Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, right hand on breast, stands at left, looking on.
Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including viola, speedwell, strawberry, rose, daisy, thistle, and pea blossom, and inhabited by moth and goat.
