Miniature:
Virgin Mary, nimbed, with joined hands, kneels at prie-dieu on which is open book. Behind her is canopy, with curtains. Archangel Gabriel, nimbed, holding scepter with right hand and raising left hand, kneels on one knee before the prie-dieu. Above right, bust of God appears in arc of Heaven, emanating rays among which dove of Holy Ghost flies toward Virgin Mary.
Margin, lower:
Virgin Mary, nimbed, holding shuttle (?) in right hand, is seated at loom. At right is exterior scene with tree.
