Virgin Mary and Christ Child: Type, Suckling -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, crowned, not veiled, wearing vair-lined mantle, sits on bench with footstool, suckling Christ Child, cross-nimbed, seated on her left arm, flanked by man wearing cap and woman wearing berbette, both kneeling with joined hands raised in attitude of donors (devotees); above, two curtains draped over rods.
