Jean Froissart: Chroniques, Book I, Chapter 241 -- Two groups of soldiers in full armor attack each other with spears and sword. Four soldiers wear surcoats with coats of arms of Castile (twice), Bertrand de Guesclin, and Prince of Wales. Two standards bearing same arms of Castile, one of which is reversed, are carried by soldiers.
Text describes battle of Najera on April 3, 1367.
