Christ: Crucifixion -- Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, is affixed with three nails to cross with titulus inscribed INRI. At base of cross is Mary Magdalen, wearing headdress, kneeling with her hands on the cross. To left stands Virgin Mary, veiled, with rays as nimbus, flanked by woman, wearing headdress, and Evangelist John, with rays as nimbus. To right, helmeted soldier, holding shield, and man, wearing hat, exit scene. Domed building in background.
Margins with vinescroll and floreate ornament, inhabited by bird.
