Pentecost -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and crowned, with joined hands, is seated on throne, with dove of Holy Ghost, nimbed, wings outstretched, perched on her nimbus amid rays. She is flanked by thirteen apostles, kneeling, four with joined hands, two looking upward, one with right hand on shoulder of apostle in front of him. Rays descend from arc of Heaven in which is bust of God, nimbed, raising right hand in gesture of blessing, surrounded by ten red seraphs.
Miniature and text surrounded by gold frame on three sides, terminating in floreate ornament including thistle. Margins decorated with border of rinceaux, foliate and floreate ornament, and inhabited by winged hybrid man, wearing hood, with body of lion.
