Christ: Presentation -- Simeon, nimbed, wearing miter, extends draped hands over draped altar, toward Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, holding Christ Child, partially draped. Behind her are Joseph the Carpenter, wearing hood, and female attendant, wearing headdress, holding basket with dove. Scene in room with curtain and open window.
Below miniature is inscription DEUS IN ADIUTORIUM MEUM INTENDE. DOMINE AD ADIUUA(N)DU(M) (Psalm 70:1, Vulg. 69:2).
