Christ: Baptism -- Christ, crossed nimbus, nude, raising right hand in blessing, stands in river. John Baptist, nimbed, kneels on right bank, pouring water onto His head from bowl (?). Dove of Holy Ghost hovers above amid rays. Angel, nimbed, holding garment, stands at left on other bank of the river. City on hill in background. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including rose, thistle, grapevine, viola, daisy, strawberry, campanula, columbine, holly with berries, and inhabited by two birds. Text is antiphon for Matins on 01.06, feast of Adoration of the Magi.
