Christ: Presentation -- Simeon of Jerusalem, nimbed, wearing bishop's miter surmounted by cross, supports with draped hands nude infant Christ Child, standing on round altar. Flanking the altar are Virgin Mary, with draped hands, and another woman, both nimbed and kneeling, and Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, kneeling, holding basket with two doves. In background, large group of men witness scene.
In vignette in lower margin:
Christ: Presentation, Journey to Jerusalem -- Woman, nimbed, is behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, holding swaddled infant Christ Child. In front of Virgin Mary is Joseph the Carpenter, nimbed, wearing hat, carrying basket with two doves in right hand.
