Josiah: Passover, Charge to Levites -- Possibly Josiah, nimbed, indicating altar with left hand, raising right hand, looking toward Levite extending left hand to the altar within initial E at beginning of I Esdras (Vulg., III Esdras).
In left margin, half-figure of man as termination of lower vertical bar, grasping upper bar with raised left hand.
Decorated foliate scroll in lower margin inhabited by half-figure of man grasping vine with right hand and with spear in left hand pierces animal, possibly dog, showing teeth, playing wind instrument, enclosed in medallion of vine.
