1) David: anointed -- Samuel, nimbed, wearing vair-lined mantle, steps forward, and raises vessel of affusion above head of young David, with right hand raised and pedum in left hand. Scene in architectural setting with two portals.
2) David: slinging at Goliath -- Young David, with pedum in left hand, extends sling with stone in his right hand. He looks toward Goliath wearing mail coif and helmet, bleeding in forehead, standing, armed with spear, sheathed sword in belt, and shield. Scene in architectural setting.
