Thomasin von Zerclaere: Text, Der Wälsche Gast, Book 03.03 -- Personification of Fear, with scrolls inscribed DIE VORTHE (sic) and WIR HAN NICHTES NICHT, stands pointing with right hand. Beside her stands personification of Desire, with scrolls inscribed DIE GIRDE and ERE GIBT GEMACH. She places her left hand on shoulder of kneeling man, with scrolls inscribed DER VERZADE MAN and DAZ REDET MIR DIE GIRDE, as he holds hand of woman, veiled, seated on bench, with scrolls inscribed DAZ IST DIE EIGE and WILT DU MYN MAN WERDEN.
