Judith: slaying Holofernes -- Judith, wearing hair net, grasps with left hand hair of Holofernes, partially nude, reclining in bed, and decapites him with sword held in right hand. Holofernes raises his right hand to sword.
Scene within decorated initial A, hybrid animal forming right stem and marginal extender.
