Magi: Adoration -- Below canopy inscribed with sun, Joseph the Carpenter, holding covered vessel with left hand, and raising right, stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed, seated, holding on her lap, nude Christ Child, crossed nimbus. Before them kneels eldest Magus, with joined hands raised. The other two Magi, crowned, stand beside him holding covered vessels. All Magi wear robes trimmed with vair. In background, ox and ass, backs turned stand at manger. Rays descend from star.
Scene in manger open to sky and landscape with rocky outcrop and tree.
Foliate initial D with floreate decoration. Margins decorated with border of foliate and floreate ornament inhabited by snail, fantastic animals and bird.
