Chevalier aux Dames: Scene, Noble Coeur in Prayer -- Bust of bridled horse accompanies Noble Coeur, with joined hands raised, wearing sword fastened to waist, kneeling beside helmet and looking up toward cloudy arc of heaven in which emerges half-figure of Virgin Mary, nimbed, supporting in her arms nude Christ Child, nimbed. Scene in hilly landscape with trees. Miniature within gold frame for Chevalier aux Dames; Noble Coeur thanks Virgin Mary for his victory.
