Margin, lower:
Crown of thorns, ladder, spear, and sponge on reed.
Margin, right:
Situla, pincers, hammer, crucifix (Christ, cross-nimbed, eyes closed, head inclined, wearing long loin cloth, blood flowing from wounds, affixed with three nails to green cross on mound), and three nails.
Margin, upper:
Open sarcophagus with diagonally placed lid.
Initial I, decorated with scrolling foliage, at beginning of Passion according to John 18:1-19.
