Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed, veiled, with eyes closed, lays on bed with hands crossed on her abdomen. Around the bed are nimbed apostles, including Peter (?), tonsured, possibly holding aspergil, and one seated, holding open book in both hands. Above, in arc of heaven emanating rays and bordered by seraphim, is God, nimbed, crowned, emanating rays, with His mouth open as though singing (?), holding personification of soul of Virgin Mary (?), as swaddled infant (?), nimbed, wearing crown. Scene in medallion in left margin.
Margins with ivy-rinceaux, foliate, and vinescroll ornament.
