1) Initial N enclosing man, possibly Tobias, wearing hat, with left hand holding scroll and gesturing; against filigree background. 2) Initial O enclosing three-quarter figure of tonsured cleric, with joined hands raised; against filigree background. Beginning of Antiphon and Lesson for Book of Tobias a for First Sunday in October. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear, emerging from cloudy arcs, holding scrolls inscribed OMNI TEMPORE and BENEDICTUM (right).
