Miniature, column: Tobias: with Sara -- Tobias, wearing ermine-trimmed hat, eyes closed, with left hand raised, is seated on chair beside bed of canopy type. In foreground, Anna, wearing turban-like headdress, with both hands holding lamb. Scene in bedroom with wooden ceiling, tiled floor and window on far wall. Beginning of First Lesson in First Nocturn in Vespers on the First Sunday in October. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear, emerging from cloudy arcs, holding scrolls inscribed SI MULTUS and SI EXIGUUS (left).
