Miniature, column: Tobias: taking Fish -- Within initial T, Tobias, wearing ermine-trimmed hat, eyes closed, extending hands to fish extended in hands of kneeling man, wearing belted purse; all against gold background. Beginning of First Lesson in First Nocturn in Vespers on the First Sunday in October. Margins decorated on three sides with scrolling floreate and foliate decoration inhabited by half figures of two prophets, wearing draped headgear, emerging from cloudy arcs, holding scrolls inscribed CUM AUTEM and POST MULTUM (right).
