Christ: Bewailing -- Holy Woman, nimbed and veiled, with clasped hands raised to face, stands behind Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, supporting with both arms, head of Christ, cross-nimbed, eyes closed, wearing long loin cloth, body covered with wounds, reclining on ground . Behind her, Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hat, grasping cross with right, indicates Virgin Mary with left hand. Nicodemus, wearing pointed hat, gestures with left hand.
Christ: Entombment -- Christ, crossed nimbus, body wrapped in shroud, is lowered into sarcophagus by two men, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea. Behind the sarcophagus, Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, raising hands, is flanked by two Holy Women, both raising clasped hands to face, the other holding left hand to face.
