Christ: Deposition -- Nicodemus, standing on ladder, supports right arm of Christ, cross-nimbed, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, with feet affixed to tau cross with titulus inscribed INRI. Supporting with draped hand left arm of Christ is Joseph of Arimathea, wearing hood, standing on ground beside Evangelist John, with rays as nimbus, and Virgin Mary, veiled, with rays as nimbus, seated on ground with hands on her breast. At base of cross kneels Mary Magdalen, with rays as nimbus, wearing headdress, with hands joined above ointment jar on ground. Landscape with domed building and trees in background.
