Virgin Mary: Coronation, Virgin kneeling -- Beneath rays issuing from arc of heaven, one of two angels places fleuron-tipped and jeweled crown on head of Virgin Mary, nimbed, kneeling with joined hands raised before God, wearing tiara (partly visible), with right hand raised in blessing her, and with left hand holding cross-surmounted globe on His lap seated on decorated throne sculpted with figures in relief. Scene in an interior with paneled walls and tiled floor. Decorated initial C formed by dragon and inhabited by bird. Miniature and text within architectural frame of two columns supporting pediment.
