Behind him are veiled woman and youth, both holding lighted candles. Scene in interior of church, with tile floor, carved tracery, and leaded-glass windows. In background is draped altar with retable depicting the Crucifixion, with one cross flanked by Virgin Mary (?) and Evangelist John (?), with other figures at sides.
