Shepherds: Annunciation -- One of two shepherds, raising right arm to shield eyes, holding pedum with left hand,is seated in foreground next to dog. The second shepherd, raising left arm to shield eyes, holding pedum with right hand, stands looking up toward bust of angel, holding, with both hands, scroll inscribed GLORIA IN ALTISS(I)MI(S) DEO ET IN emerging from arc of Heaven emitting rays. At left is wattle fence enclosing sheep, surrounding sheepcote with wheels. Scene in landscape with trees. Margins decorated with border of floreate ornament including campanula and daisy, and inhabited by two birds.
