Psalm 008 (Vulg., 008) -- Initial D of Domine enclosing bust of man against gold background; the initial’s ascender formed by dragon-like hybrid animal biting stave and extending into upper right margin terminating in head of long-eared ass; the descender formed by dragon-like hybrid animal extending into lower and right margin terminating in bust of helmeted soldier, with right hand aiming arrow in bow held with left hand.
