Christ: Pietà -- Virgin Mary, veiled, sits with joined hands raised, holding in her lap body of Christ, wearing crown of thorns and short loin cloth, bleeding from wounds, with eyes closed. Behind Mary is tau cross, with titulus inscribed INRI. Bones on ground before her. In the background is distant landscape. Miniature enclosed in architectural frame with two standing figures of prophets (?). Bottom of frame inscribed OBSECRO TE D[OMI]NA S[AN]C[T]A M[ARIA].
