New Testament:
Christ: Betrayal and Arrest and Apostle, Peter: cutting off Ear of Malchus -- Peter, grasping hilt of sword with right hand, and sheath with left hand, stands over Malchus, right hand to face, seated on ground, holding with left hand, lantern, open with candle falling out. Next to Malchus, Christ, nimbed, extends right hand, holding ear, toward Malchus. Judas, mouth open, sack hanging from waist, embraces Christ. He stands amid six (?) soldiers, one raising looped rope over head of Christ, three holding spears, one holding fork.
