Roman de la Rose: Scene, Forced Abstinence and False Seeming before God of Love -- Forced Abstinence as nun, veiled with wimple, False Seeming, tonsured as Franciscan monk, and Lover (?), tonsured, as Dominican monk, the latter two raising left hands, all looking toward God of Love (Eros), winged and crowned, gesturing with both hands.
