1) Alexius of Rome: Scene, Departure on Pilgrimage -- Alexius of Rome as pilgrim, nimbed, wearing broad-rimmed hat and pilgrim’s garb, accompanied by group of men, all on ship with rigging and banner, beside boat, in which is man, extending hands to object in extended hands of another Alexius of Rome as pilgrim, nimbed, wearing broad-rimmed hat and pilgrim’s garb, with sack slung over left wrist, standing on shore.
2) Alexius of Rome: Scene, derided by Servants -- Within room, Alexius of Rome, nimbed, wearing pilgrim’s garb, with both hands raised, kneeling, his head poured with water from jug tipped in left hand of servant, behind the Alexius, group of seven men (most with only heads visible), at least two throwing stones.
3) Alexius of Rome: Scene, living in Father’s House -- Within room, Alexius of Rome, nimbed, seated on bench, with right hand holding pen to leaf with pseudo-inscriptions held on lap, behind him is canopy. At right, among three men, two are in conversation with each other and one is gesturing, all partly covered by blanket, at far right, three women, one with extended right hand.
