Virgin Mary: Death -- Virgin Mary, nimbed and veiled, eyes closed, hands crossed, reclines on draped bed (?) with head on pillow. Half-figure of Christ, crossed nimbus, supports nimbed personification of soul with right arm, caressing her face with left hand, touching cheeks, in cloud behind the bed. Eleven apostles, nimbed, surround the bed including one holding censer with draped left hand, lifting lid with right hand; another holding both hands to face; Peter, extending aspergil with right hand, holding situla with left hand; three gesturing; and two in foreground, crouching or kneeling, holding open books with pseudo-inscriptions.
