Decorated initial Q of QUANT LI ANGLES LI OT CE DIT / DE DEUANT LI S’EUANOIST ..., enclosing bust of nimbed male saint.
Margins decorated with foliate stems and balls.
Margaret of Antioch: Scene, with Malchus the Executioner -- Nimbed angel, emerging from foliate stem, swinging censer above Malchus the Executioner wielding sword above Margaret, nimbed, partly kneeling with bound crossed arms, at right of crenellated building (prison), in lower and right margins.
Hybrid animal in left margin; hybrid man, forming part of horizontal foliate stem, extending headgear toward nude male figure, exposing hindquarters (Obscaena), walking on stilts, raising hands to claws of bird, possibly parrot, at left in upper margin.
