Macarius of Rome: Scene, found by Monks -- At left, Theophilus the Monk, Sergius the Monk, and Hyginus the Monk, all nimbed, tonsured and wearing monk’s habits, one wearing cap, two with sacks slung over left shoulder, one raising right hand toward Macarius of Rome, nimbed, bearded, possibly kneeling with both hands on tau-staff, within cave.
