Evangelist, John: Conversion of Aristodemus, John drinking Poison Cup -- Two men recline on ground, eyes closed; third man stands behind Evangelist John, nimbed, raising right hand in blessing next to chalice supported by left hand, from which serpent emerges. Aristodemus, crowned, seated on bench, raises right hand to head of the serpent.
